Jamie's Results...
Jamie was a classic gym bro for many years, but wanted to ramp his training up and try something different, so he joined the team.
We signed him up to Hampshire's Strongest Man and got to work with a 12 week prep, building his skills and strength up across all the implements, he proudly took 2nd place at his ever comp.
Since then, Jamie's gone from strength to strength, and become a real static monster, dominating overhead, raised deadlift and loading events, and has eye's set on national master titles in the coming years.
He's also hit some outrageous numbers along the way including a 320kg silver dollar deadlift, 160kg front squat, 120kg log, 180kg good morning and 150kg stone.
ali's Results...
Converting from Powerlifting, Ali was already strong but wanted a new challenge, so signed up to Hampshire's Strongest Man and joined The Lifting Academy to get on top of the podium...
And we did just that, taking him through a quick 9 week prep dialing in his skills on implements and bringing his conditioning up, he took event wins and the title home.
Since then, Ali's gone on to smash UKNS England's Strongest Man and came 6th, earning a spot at UK's and winning more events along the way.
With the background in powerlifting we turned to Ali's strengths and have made him a real heavy hitter for rep events and dialed in his conditioning too. Look out for him chasing podiums at more U80kg national comps in the coming years.
EM'S results...
Joining the team to build up her compound lifts in the gym, we put Em through a 10 week deadlift block and the results were crazy... Taking her from a 110kg deadlift to 160kg in a single block we knew there was potential to become a strength athlete sensation.
Since then, Em's gone on to some insane PB's including; a 130kg back squat, a 110kg atlas stone and a 175kg deadlift, all as an U64kg athlete.
And now with a solid base of gym lifts built and some crazy strength gained, Em's turned her eye to strongwoman, no doubt a sport she'll take to naturally, so watch out for her on top of a podium.
Fabian's results...
Joining the team after being tired of other coaches not hitting the mark and getting him to where he wanted to be, Fabian was hesitant and unsure if we'd be another let down.
But a mere 6 months into working with him and he is the strongest he's ever been, making 250kg deadlifts his b*tch and now building confidence and strength in strongman events.
With a couple of solid blocks of training Fabian's gone from strength to strength and we couldn't be prouder!
Jacob's results...
After a large variety of training, Jacob found strongman and took to it amazingly after signing up with The Lifting Academy.
We started out fixing his weakness - the deadlift. Having been stuck at 180kg for years, we ran a simple but effective plan and took him up to 220kg within 8 weeks, a massive win.
And shortly after strengthening this weakness, we jumped right into a comp setting, and went for AGF's Strongest. Between his new found deadlift strength and technique developments, he secured 2nd place at his first ever comp, a massive win! We couldn't be prouder of all the hard work he's put in.
Che's results...
After many years of training, Che joined the team as an avid weightlifter that wanted to take his training to the next level.
Between trimming down 8kg of body fat he didn't need, refining all his techniques in the gym and smashing training block after training block, it's safe to say Che's levelled up a fair bit.
With powerlifting competitions under his belt and a series of huge PB's, a 150kg back squat (2x BW), 120kg front squat and 185kg deadlift, to name a few, Che's cemented himself as a strength athlete and we couldn't be prouder.
Kieran's results...
Being plateaued at 180kg on his deadlift for years, Kieran was fed up with the lack of progress. But after signing up to The Lifting Academy and working closely with us, he soon blasted past this and secured a huge 235kg deadlift PB within the first block.
He's also since go on to get into Strongman and start smashing out the competitions, most notably taking second place at his second comp, winning 2 of the events. A huge win for a previously plateaued gym bro.
Jamie's results...
Jamie joined us with a couple of goals that he'd tried to achieve before but seemed out of reach. But thats didn't stop him from making 2025 his b*tch (his words).
So since joining us Jamie's down 20kg of bodyweight without cutting out any the goodness he loves and will continue. On top of that we've build up the strength and confidence to take up space in the gym and make the weights his b*tch (also his words) and he's got his eyes on some upcoming strongman comps we'll be shooting for.
So when he described The Lifting Academy at Life Changing, it's fair to say he wasn't messing around.
PEter's results...
Peter joined us as an avid basketball player wanting to get more dominant on the court and start dunking on his opponent's. He understood that the secret ingredient he was missing to his training was his S&C.
So we got straight to work on his jump technique and overall power and strength. And safe to say we've smashed Peter's goals out the park.
With a huge 110kg paused front squat and 10 inches on his jump height, he's now dominating the courts and dunking on his opponents.
Dave's results...
Dave 'The Cage Owner' isn't The Lifting Acamdey's usual type of athlete as his nickname suggests he's an MMA fighter (and a bloody good one at that).
But like a great athlete he respects the need for a strong body and savage levels of strength, so he jumped in to a strongman competition and we took him under our wing.
Between pulling a Kratos deadlift PB, a keg load PB and giving him insights into what needs work, it was a great experience for Dave.
Keith's results...
Handyman by trade, Keith had some great potential as a strongman athlete, but was finding it difficult to focus on his weaknesses, specifically overhead. Which lead to missing out on podium's when he definitely had the strength to get on top!
So after a couple of lengthy blocks focusing on his weaknesses, his progress really began to fly, notably on his overhead strength.
We took Keith from his previous 27kg Dumbbell max all the way up to a 45kg MDB during a medley and got him strict pressing his previous Log push press max!
Calum's results...
Having trained for years, Calum felt stagnated in his strength gains and knew The Lifting Academy would be able to help.
With no dreams to compete, we stuck to the basics and made sure that in a 6 month block we could blow up all of his lifts.
We added kilos across all his lifts, in particular his squat and bench, taking to him a huge 140kg squat, a massive 100kg bench and so many more PB's across the time working together.
Darcy's results...
Handyman by trade, Keith had some great potential as a strongman athlete, but was finding it difficult to focus on his weaknesses, specifically overhead. Which lead to missing out on podium's when he definitely had the strength to get on top!

rosie's results...
Having podiumed at her first strongwoman compeition, but unfortunately plagued with a back injury Rosie Joined the team looking to get back to moving pain free and back on top of podiums.
And we're proud to say that after a 3 month build, Rosie did exactly that. Building up her posterior chain strength, taking new deadlift PB's along way, she also fought her way to a podium at first comp back.
Ontop of all this, she's mastered new skills and techniques with her overhead pressing, taking both monster and circus dumbbell PB's along the way.
Christian's results...
Wanting to become a better Strongman Christian joined The Lifting Academy with sights on a big log and deadlift PB before his next comp.
So between a 110kg triple on log and almighty fight for a 272.5kg deadlift, it's safe to say we smashed exactly that, adding 2 reps to the log max and 12.5kg to a previous deadlift max in a single block.
Following this, he then went on to his first podium at a competition and step out from the novice and inters categories, straight into the opens to join the big boys.
